Financial Cookie Jar

Today I saw a lot of news articles talking about how we are probably more optimistic about the economy than we should be. Ouch! Right? Did anyone else feel that dagger? Okay, I might be overdramatizing but I just feel like every other day we are told different things. Monday it’s hold on to your money, Tuesday it’s there is no better time to invest, Wendesday we’re back to holding on to our money and by Friday we’re gripping our money so tight it’s actually turning to dust in our hands.

So what is the answer? I think it’s that we should be comfortable with all of our financial dealings right now. If we’re comfortable with a little bit of risk, then do it. If we’re not, then back off, put your money in a jar, and hold on to that jar for as long as you can. I’ll bet there is going to be a lot more difficult ahead, but, we’re a good country with a lot of good hard workers. If we can boost that morale and play into the need to work then we will lift ourselves out of this in no time. So let’s all pull together and act comfortably so we can move forward and fix this madness.
