Financial Cookie Jar

This morning I went to a special showing of a movie that’s going to come out. It was great, but weird because I watched in the morning. It felt really good though, because it was an uplifting movie. I loved starting my day off like that.

So I was thinking about this movie and the director who was sitting right behind me as I’m critiquing it. He’s feeling the financial crunch as much as we all are, maybe even more. And he doesn’t have the means necessary to properly advertise this movie. I thought a lot about this because it was a great movie and I was truly saddened that many people won’t see it because they’ll never know about it.

Realizing this I think there is a lot of good stuff out there, but often all we know about is the stuff that may not be as good but has the major funding behind it. I think it’d be neat to seek out the cool lesser known stuff. I just think there is so much out there and people are complaining all the time about how it’s all the same, but that’s just because it’s the major stuff they’re seeing.

In seeking this stuff out we will even be helping the economy because we are spreading out the money. We will get to be richly entertained while building up those around us.
