I just drove by the gas station today and noticed that we are almost below $2 a galloon! I feel like its early Christmas! So now we are not spending a load of money that we thought we were spending. What to do with that money that would be burning in our vehicles right now?

Here’s a thought. If you could live with it out of your budget before than why not try to continue living with out it? Channel the money that would go to gas, towards whatever debt you have. If you have no debt than you should still take that money out and save it. That is the way that you become financially stable.

Gas is just the beginning. Take a look at your costs and as you pay things off, don’t just start spending that money, rather put that money towards other debt or save it so that you are actually steppin up rather than constantly in the hole.

These habits are some of the greatest for getting out of debt and staying out of debt. There are hundreds of thousands of people that have come from far in the black to the comforts of financial freedom. Don’t look at paying one thing off as sign that you should start spending money on something else. If you have debt, always rechannel the cash to new debt once other costs are gone or have deminished.

You will be surprised that you can still make it, your debt will drop and you will eventually find money in your bank account. In order to munch on tasty treats in the future (figuratively speeching) you have to be preserving those cookies Put them in the financiaol cookie jar and then you will have them in the future. Ummm yum!
