I just wanted to write a small post about a saying that I have heard, after which I have a continuation of the issue that ended last week. Here is how the saying goes, “You can either work for interest or you can have interest work for you.” I know right. Makes sense right? This is something that all of us know and yet the majority of us seem to be slaves to the interest our debts have incurred. Why aren’t we allowing interest to work for us?

Back to the issue at hand. Saving money, by making small changes, so that we start to live a proactive lifestyle. We all know that those who are wealthy allow interest to work for them rather than the other way around. As you start saving money and it starts adding up and interest becomes your employee. Another wise man said that “Interest never sleeps.” If you are making interest you can (sleep that is), and happily. If you are paying interest you are being charged even while you sleep and the pressure that is derived from it might even keep you from getting a good nights sleep.

I know your probably getting sick of it, but if we were doing it there wouldn’t be nearly as many problems as we are in. So here it is, one more article on how saving a little can add up to a lot. Check it out, some of these tips are ridiculously easy.

  1. If only people knew more about how money works. Especially the government. They have the biggest debt of anyone in the world!
