State of Union Will Target Middle Class

President Obama is scheduled to give his State of the Union address on Wednesday at 9 p.m. eastern time. As the annual State of the Union Address approaches, people wonder what Obama plans for the coming year. Questions covering a variety of topics including health care, the war in Iraq, and whether Obama will keep all of the promises that he made at the beginning of his presidency, are all being voiced.
His speech has been reviewed by the White House, and it is said that Obama plans to present a new plan that will provide middle-class families financial assistance. His speech is going to incorporate many different aspects including new jobs, health care, new tax credits for child care, maximum amounts for student loan payments, and a clause requiring workers to save for retirement.
By reaching out to the middle class families, Obama hopes to relate the feeling that he cares for them and empathizes with the financial troubles they have been experiencing throughout the recession. He also hopes that this will help stabilize his rocky presidency and connect with many who are critical of him because of the economy and the recession.
The speech is still in the process of being finalized, but the theme is definitely focused on jobs, health care, and finances in relation to the middle-class of America.
