Wasting Away the Leisure Time

Recent studies have been conducted about the leisure time of people and some interesting things have been discovered. They have found that those with more education tend to spend less time on leisure activities than those with less education.
One thing I see as an important factor is that educated people tend to be more employed than those with less education. Beyond this though, one thing that concerned me was that those with less education spend less quality time with their children.
Here is where my thoughts were spurned. If people with less education have more leisure time why are they not spending more time with their children? The only area in which they were spending more time than the more educated person was in leisure and sleeping.
I think this points to the need to overhaul our society’s regard for the family unit. The less quality time spent with children, the less the children will learn from the parent the importance of hard work. We need a new generation of hard workers in this country as opposed to anyone leisurely wasting time not spending it with their kids.
