Does anybody remember having a piggy bank? Does anybody remember how the piggy bank worked? Here’s the thing, you save a little here and there, then someday you have a whole bunch and you can use it for whatever you want. Whatever happened to the piggy bank mentality?

You know what bothers me to no end? “I can’t save any money. I have too many bills.” My friends there are always ways to save money. Those ways are what make up the piggy bank mentality. If you are saving a little here and a little there it is possible to, during the course of a year, put away some relatively hefty cash.

The goal is to always be saving. Get in the habit! Even if you can only save $10 or $20 a week that all adds up down the road, especially because now days our adult piggy banks give us interest. Imagine ten years worth of $20 a week going into your savings. With a decent interest rate your egg can become Easter. When you have the ability to save more, save more. As your pay increases, save more. Lastly, slash those unnecessary bills and save more!

This is a sweet article I read this morning with creative and logical ways to save money by slashing your bills. Its the article that got me thinking on this subject. Check it out and get back to the piggy bank!
